Altar Servers

Please fill out this FORM to be put on the list to be notified when the registration for the class is opened. Training is done only in January each year.

Youth of the parish are trained to assist the priest during the celebration of the Holy Mass and at special liturgical celebrations.

Boys and girls of the parish are invited to serve God and their parish by becoming Altar Servers. Servers carry the cross, the processional candles, hold the book for the priest celebrant when he is not at the altar, carry the incense and censer, present the bread, wine, and water to the priest during the preparation of the gifts or assist him when he receives the gifts from the people, wash the hands of the priest, assist the priest celebrant and deacon as necessary.

All youth in 5th grade through high school can join the Altar Server ministry so they can learn to appreciate and participate more fully in the Eucharist.
